Kat Reeder is an artist and designer living on Oahus western shore. She was born in Lima, Peru and grew up in Miami, Florida. Her artistic sensibilities are deeply rooted in her Latin-American heritage. Her use of color and texture are directly influenced by her love of the Hawaiian Islands. Kat Reeders work is characterized by striking retro-inspired visuals that combine conventional drawing, photography and digital media. Her style is a unique fusion of 60s Tropicalia, Japanime, and Art Nouveau. Her art aims to capture the radiance, beauty, and sensuality of all women. At the forefront of the digital fine art movement in Hawaii, Kat brings a fresh voice to this genre. Although a largely self-taught illustrator and painter, Kat holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida and attended the Graphic Design Program at Miami Ad School in Miami Beach, Florida.
