German Tessarollo: Altruistic artist of Venetian origin (Italy) and Colombian at heart, who decided to live intermittently between Colombia and Europe and finally settled in Bogota 41 years ago, attracted by the climate he calls "a cold shower" in comparison with the seasons, the colors of the mountains savanna, the aroma of coffee, the tunes of the Colombian accent and the people. In his blood he carries the artistic heritage, mainly influenced by his great-grandfather a teacher of sculpture and drawings of Venice. He received the Mediterranean influenced romantic poetry, from his mother of Neapolitan origin. Tesarollo Germain was a versatile artist, who exercised the art since he was 14. With significant experience in the art world, advertising, art director, illustrator, artist and photographer.
He is currently working with providing art therapy to terminally ill patients with AIDS, cancer, and schizophrenia. Through these art workshops it provides a catharsis for the patient through painting and drawing as an art therapy that helps to externalize a spiritual and artistic world, facilitating expression and communication of psychological aspects of patient when verbalization is difficult due to various causes, leading to a spiritual motivation for the love of God and Life.
He has also worked in social projects such as the Green Heart Foundation, Matamoros and for policemen wounded while on duty he worked on a slogan devised and adopted " more brush is a rifle less" interacting with them through their artistic workshops helping to overcome the emotional pain.
Philanthropic Germain is an artist with a high sense of commitment to human being, constantly concerned about spiritual and social aspects in Colombia, a tireless worker of art.
